Flat bbt temps after ovulation. For the past 8 they ve been within 15 of each other. My bbt chart has a clear thermal shift showing ovulation but ever since my temps have been weirdly stable. I know my thermometer is working as it s brand new and i ve used it at other times and gotten different readings. The rise in temperature is usually about 0 4 degrees fahrenheit or 0 2 degrees celsius but the rise may be as slight as 0 2 degrees fahrenheit or 0 1 degrees celsius or even less in some cases.
Every month about 4 5 days after o i get the same temp over and over 97 7. The walmart pink bbt is the same. Flat bbt after ovulation. That was one of the ones that had bad reviews that included favorite temps and flat temps.
Sorry if anyone has seen this question before looking for a little experience. I am 13dpo and my temps have been very stable for the last 5 days. Any idea what the flat temps might mean. Temperatures above 98 indicate ideal progesterone levels.
After ovulation the bbt usually rises between 0 4 and 0 8 degrees f and remains at that higher level every day until just before menstruation begins. I thought it was weird too. Over two or three months the typical chart of an ovulating woman will show a pattern of a slight temperature rise 0 4 to 1 0 degrees f at mid cycle. Temperatures should 98 2 f or higher in the luteal phase a whole degree higher than those in the follicular phase.
It only starts to drop around 13 dpo and then i know i m getting my period. By the time you see three higher than average temperatures your most fertile days have passed. I ve seen other women s temps and they seem to go all over the place. Hi everyone i am new to measuring bbt however based on what i read online you should have a significant low temp before ovulation and then high temp after ovulation.
Your basal body temperature can only tell you that you ovulated after it happens. By the time you see three higher than average temperatures your most fertile days have passed. But my temp seems to be steady and in past 4 days totally flat. The temperature elevation that occurs after ovulation is sufficient to be measured with a bbt thermometer and viewed on a bbt graph when a few simple conditions are met.
I suggest getting a new bbt and seeing if it makes a difference take your temp with both. I know my therm is. This is only my 2nd cycle off bc so i can t really compare to another cycle. I have been temping off and on for 3 years and i haven t ever had this to my recollection.
