Flat Bbt Temps Before Ovulation
I have been temping off and on for 3 years and i haven t ever had this to my recollection.
Flat bbt temps before ovulation. That was one of the ones that had bad reviews that included favorite temps and flat temps. In the first phase of the cycle bbt usually stays below 98 6 f 37 c. However bbt dip before ovulation the time when your bbt drops right before ovulation and then will have an increase after. This means that it will show lower temperatures before ovulation a rise.
But my temp seems to be steady and in past 4 days totally flat. Generally your basal body temperature stays under 98 6 degrees fahrenheit or 37 degrees celsius. I am 13dpo and my temps have been very stable for the last 5 days. If you have a triphasic pattern on your bbt chart.
I know my thermometer is working as it s brand new and i ve used it at other times and gotten different readings. Most often bbt falls between 97 52 98 24 f 36 4 36 8 c because of low progesterone concentration. In order to predict ovulation you need to measure and track your bbt daily and uninterrupted for several cycles. This is only my 2nd cycle off bc so i can t really compare to another cycle.
Issues in the follicular phase. A triphasic pattern indicates that progesterone rose a little bit more causing your temperatures to also. Right before ovulation basal body temperature usually drops with a sharp increase right after ovulation. My bbt chart has a clear thermal shift showing ovulation but ever since my temps have been weirdly stable.
A fertility chart that shows ovulation detected by bbt will have a biphasic pattern. While many women keep bbt charts as a way to predict ovulation there s actually soooooo much more a bbt chart can tell you and when ovulation is occurring is usually the least important. Any idea what the flat temps might mean. Af would be due tomorrow.
After ovulation your basal body temperature rises sufficiently that you can see the difference between your pre ovulation and post ovulation temperatures when they are plotted on a graph. Sorry if anyone has seen this question before looking for a little experience. I suggest getting a new bbt and seeing if it makes a difference take your temp with both. The walmart pink bbt is the same. For the past 8 they ve been within 15 of each other. A triphasic temperature pattern is a second temperature increase occurring about one week after ovulation seeing a triphasic pattern on your bbt chart is slightly more likely to indicate a potential pregnancy but it is also no guarantee.
